How To Add Additional Channels To A Charge Point

Do you need to add an additional channel to your charge point? Follow the instructions below to learn how to set it up.

Add An Additional Channel To A Charge Point

1. Log in to your EVC-net
2. Click on Charge points > Search
3. Search for charge point
4. Open the charge point
5. Scroll down to “Channels” section
6. Click on “NEW” to add a new channel
7. Check the following fields:
   • Channel – number of the socket
   • Profile – charge point
   • EVSE ID – based on the naming convention – do not modify!
8. Fill in the following fields:
   • Connector type – pre-filled, but needs checking if correct
   • Connector format – socket or cable
   • AC/DC
   • Phases
   • Max Current (A)
   • Voltage – pre-filled, needs checking
   • Max. power (W) – fill in (e.g.,50000)
   • QR code – automatically generated after you click Save
9. Click on Create
