CPO guideline to enable payment terminals

Here is a high-level guideline to enable Last Mile Solutions payment terminals for CPOs.

  1. CPO reach out to your LMS contact or support@lastmilesolutions.com to request payment terminals and sign contract for card payment processing.
  2. CPO orders terminals from payment terminal manufactures based on LMS curated list – Supported payment terminal models
    • Here you can find the contacts of payment terminal manufacturers to make an order and more information on sim card process and terminal specification.
  3. CPO provides LMS with onboarding information via downloadable Payment Terminal Import File 
  4. LMS registers & onboards terminals to corresponding provider
  5. LMS confirms with CPO once onboarding is completed
  6. CPO prepare the terminals before installing to CPs
    1. Initialize terminals
    2. Insert simcard for each terminal (applied to terminals where you use LMS simcards). For Payter terminals, CPO can order simcards from Payter as part of terminal order
  7. CPO provides LMS a list of terminal serial numbers and the charge points to which the terminals are attached to.
  8. LMS connects the payment terminals to charge points as requested by CPO.
  9. CPO makes a test transaction & installs terminals into charge points on the field.
