How to Transfer the Operation of an Existing Payment Terminal

To ensure a smooth transition, please follow the steps below:

  1. Verify your current agreement
Please check whether your existing service agreement with your current payment terminal operator allows termination. It is also important to confirm that there are no contractual restrictions preventing the terminal from being used by another payment provider—even after the contract ends.
  1. Contact your CSM
If the terminal can be transferred, please reach out to your CSM, who will create a request to initiate the takeover process.
To begin, we will need the following information:
  • Payment terminal details (manufacturer, model, current operator)
  • Charger connected to the terminal (manufacturer, model, serial number)
  1. Technical verification
Once we receive the information, we will check whether we can take over the management of your terminal. We will then inform you whether the configuration can be completed remotely or if on‑site actions will be required.
  1. If takeover is not possible
Should the existing terminal not be eligible for transfer, our sales team will prepare a competitive offer for a new terminal provided by LMS.
Together with the offer, you will receive:
  • Installation guidelines for replacing the existing terminal
  • Information on charger adjustments or configuration changes that may be needed

Important note
Terminal installation and charger configuration must be performed by an authorized installer who has the technical documentation approved by the charger manufacturer. LMS cannot take responsibility for work performed by unauthorized personnel.
