IO
All connectors are 5.08mm right angle phoenix connectors.
- Eth: The RJ45 10/100 mb Ethernet connector is located at the bottom of Edge. It is the primary connection for all communication.
- RS485-A/B: Modbus connection used for connecting a serial energy meter to Edge. Edge has a 120Ohm termination resistor built in.
- Serial 2 and Serial 4: These 3.3v TTL serial connectors are utility serials that can be used for various applications
- Gnd and 12v: 1 of the 2 connectors for supplying Edge with power.
- 12V: This 12v DC power jack is also located at the bottom. This connector provides an alternative to power Edge.
- Serial 5: 3.3v TTL serial connector is by default configured to allow a direct serial access by the management interface with a 115200 baudrate.
- LED1 and 2: These leds can be used as utility leds as per configuration. Maximum current sink per pin: 20ma
