After you login to Edge with the Edge Management interface you will see the following screen. The Edge provided to you is already configured with an SDM630 energy meter.
First steps
Before you connect your stations to Edge we first recommend you to write down some information about this Edge and its application.
- Go to Settings tab. You will see the following screen:
- Change the Edge name – This name is used to recognize this Edge
- It is also Advised to fill in the installation notes, which makes it easy for maintenance workers when they login for troubleshooting. See the following image for an example. The Edge name has been set to “Edge Office Rotterdam”, and the installation notes briefly describe the installation
- The next step in the installation process is to Connect the charge points to Edge
