Customers Explained

In EVC-net, there are three primary types of customers, each with distinct roles and purposes:

  • Private User: A private user is an individual consumer who utilizes the offered e-Mobility services. This category includes private individuals who access charging services for personal use.
  • Company: A company represents a business or government organization that directly provides e-Mobility services to its employees and/or visitors. This category encompasses entities that offer charging services to their own staff or guests, often within a corporate or institutional setting.
  • Employee: An employee is an individual associated with a company (business or government organization) that provides e-Mobility services. The key distinction here is that an employee is essentially a private user who is affiliated with a specific company account. In other words, employees are individuals connected to a corporate or organizational customer account.

The primary difference between a private user and an employee lies in their association with a company account. An employee is essentially a private user who is linked to a specific company’s account within the system. This distinction is essential for tracking and managing charging activities and billing within the corporate or institutional context.

These customer types allow EVC-net to cater to various user profiles, from individual consumers to corporate entities and their employees, offering flexibility and customization in the provision of e-Mobility services.
