First Time Log In As System User

Follow the instructions below to set up your password and 2FA (Two Factor Authentication).

What do you need to get started?

  • System User account in EVC-net
  • Access to Computer and Mobile Phone
  • Authenticator App, such as Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator.

Set Up Admin Login

  1. You will receive an e-mail, with a link to create a password.
    • Click on the link to set your new password.
  2. Create a password of your choice and click on Reset. Your password has been updated.
  3. Click on Sign On to continue.
  4. Once redirected to home page, enter your email address/user name and password
  5. Click on Sign on, to log in for the first time. 
  6. Click on No authentication code if you have not yet set up your Two Factor Authentication with OTP with an Authenticator App. 
  7. Click on Submit. You will receive an automatic email with an authentication code (Login Code). 
    • Note: the identification code is one-time use only and cannot be reused during any subsequent login attempts. 
  8. Enter the identification code (login code) received by Email and click Sign on
  9. You are now logged into your administrator account. 

Set Up Two Factor Authentication (2FA)

A one-time password (OTP) is an automatically generated sequence of numeric or alphanumeric characters that authenticates a user for a single connection or transaction. An OTP is used in a multi-factor authentication (MFA) process to secure access to data.

  1. Download an Authenticator App, such as Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator. 
    • Note: If you are using this type of application for the first time, log in with your existing account (for example your Google account with the Google Authenticator application) 
  2. After logging into your EVC-net administrator account, you should be automatically redirected to your admin profile, where you can find the QR Code and secret key needed to set up the 2FA.
    • If not, please visit your admin profile by clicking on your name in the top right corner à Your user data. 
  3. Open the Authenticator app and press the  + button in the upper right corner.
  4. Scan the QR code or fill in the secret key. 
  5. You have now successfully set up 2FA.
    • Every time you log in to EVC-net, your Authenticator app will generate a code, you will fill in on the login page.
